I didn't want to spend more than $100 on a replacement for the cold side intercooler boot on my 1996 Dodge Ram Cummins diesel. My truck isn't a sled puller or a bro truck, and it's not hopped up either. Keep in mind that this is a normal truck with a stock turbo. I cut this elbow down to size using the original as a template, and it slid right in with a little silicone spray on the inside.
This pipe is made to fit perfectly between a cone air filter and the BMW MAF. Each end has a different size that suits my needs perfectly. I'd purchased a dozen of these pipes before finding this one, which fit perfectly. In addition, the cost was very reasonable.
I can mentally prepare myself and clear the time frame in which I will be waiting. To connect my charge pipe to my intercooler, I used this product. The coupler was a little too long, but I appreciated it nonetheless. I simply cut to fit with an xacto knife (or something similar). It was a success. Since I'm not pushing too much power (stock), the 4 ply is fine for now. I wanted a 5 ply but couldn't find one. I had found a comfortable position. When I start putting serious power into it, we'll see how it holds up. Perhaps I should get a second one in case the first one fails due to overpowering. Shoot! Eh, I'm sure we'll be fine!.
This was used to connect a 92mm throttle body to a 3" charge pipe. br>Had to trim a little bit off, but that was due to my tight engine bay, not the product.
I bought this because I recently purchased an aftermarket intake air system, but the pipe was too short for my car, so I needed an extension with two different sizes on both ends (3 to 3). I couldn't find anything similar in any store, so I turned to the internet, where I discovered this. br>It looks great and matches my brake calipers and engine head; engine heat won't harm it, so it's quite durable.
This is the number three that I am using. 5"- In the intake system leading to my turbo, I have a 3" reducing elbow. It's exactly what I'm looking for. If the legs are too long, they can easily be cut down to fit.
Very good quality, much heavier duty than others on the market and so far 100% oil vapor resistant than others on the market and so far 100% oil vapor resistant than other.
