According to Bill Gates, it is appropriate for your year 2011. The part number is identical to the one I bought for my 2008 E350 4 Matic. By comparison, the one I bought from Amazon looked like an OEM part and fit perfectly.
No, the 2014 shows are to be taken with a 39212.
It will move up and down with the tension of the rubber belt because it is attached to a spring; if it is wobbling side to side, it is likely defective unless the pulley has been loosened.

class. I installed it in my 2012 C300 and it fit perfectly. When I took out my OEM original, it was also branded "Gates. " So I'm assuming Gates is the original equipment manufacturer, and this is a direct (read: not indirect) (read: not indirect) (read: not indirect) (read: not indirect Without the Merc mark-up, it's a less expensive) alternative. With some mechanical knowledge, it took me about 2 hours to remove the old and install the new. You should probably replace the belt as well; I got mine from Amazon and it worked perfectly. br>br>There's also a great youtube video (search for QY4Gp11G5tI) that shows the swap in detail, including the serpentine diagram. It's worth noting that you'll need some specialized tools, such as an E12 Torx (female). If you're replacing an existing tensioner, you'll need a pin to hold the old unit in place while you remove the belt and pull it out. An old 3/16 allen key, as shown in the video, works perfectly. The new unit includes a pin, which you should leave in place during installation.
B E350. When you hear a constant squeal when you turn on your computer, it's usually one of two things: a worn idler pulley or an improperly tensioned serpentine belt It's simple enough to do so. While the engine is running, get a spray bottle of water and spray the squealing belt. It's a slack belt if the squeal disappears after a while. A new tensioner for the belt is required. br>br>For the previous two years, the belt on my E350 had been squealing on and off (the belt had been replaced two years ago). I tried replacing both the smooth and grooved idler pulleys one by one before I discovered the above test, but it didn't work. Then I found out about this test, performed it, and discovered I needed a new tensioner! My car has been squeaky-free since I replaced it 15 minutes ago. I've been without a job for the past six months. br>br>This product is in excellent condition and has the same part numbers as the original. I'll be overjoyed if it lasts as long as the first (140,000 miles).
" Oh, and it was "Less Expensive" by a long shot. My old one was noisy, so this was an exact match. A piece of advice for "You- All", using a simple inexpensive Stethoscope, listen to all the pulleys/and items driven by the belt(s) to determine what is good or bad! Thank you, Amazon, and all of your suppliers, for providing excellent products at reasonable prices! Keep an eye on your surroundings. This component was well-made and functioned as expected. I would recommend this over any cheaper off-brand because I tried one before and it caused me more problems and cost me more money in the long run. If you buy this one, you'll be way ahead of the game. This is only my personal opinion.
It really works. My 2007 Mercedes-Benz ML350 is one of the best cars I've ever owned. It arrived on time and is in excellent condition. I replaced my belt, tensioner pulley, and idler pulley all at the same time, so if you hear that annoying squelch sound from your belt, do yourself a favor and replace them all at the same time.
For about 6 months, I had a cheaper version of this from another company on, and it was wobbling noticeably. This one is far superior and has been performing admirably in my 2008 C300 4-door sedan. matic. Installation instructions are available on the Pelican Parts website and on YouTube. It's not difficult to understand.
Prepare your tools, and it took less than 10 minutes to complete, less than 15 minutes if you include the two idler pulleys (which you should).
It's fairly simple to set up. When the previous belt was chewed up, I finally installed this tensioner. The old, ineffective tensioner allowed the belt to move side to side, causing it to become dislodged from the grooves and shred. It's been over a month since the new installation was completed, and everything is working perfectly: There is no shredding or lateral movement. The cost was reasonable, and the overall value was excellent.
