ProForm 67453 Steel Crank Gear Installation Tool

My normal method of pulling the gear on would be to use a large socket, however the balancer bolt on that out of the box crank is a larger size so the thread that I would use to pull the gear on wouldn't When I was lost for a moment I looked for a tool and found this, not only does it allow you to use your harmonic balancer puller/installer, but it's large enough so you don't have to stack washers to get the gear to fit properly. It's amazing how having the right tool can make tasks so much easier, and I think I got good value for the cost I paid.

The number of I6 is 0. It was very useful when I rebuilt my 2005 Jeep Wrangler 4. I used it to install the crank sprocket. For this exercise, I pressed the new sprocket onto the crank using this tool and a harmonic balancer installation tool. The program worked very well.
