For my 1996 K1500, I have an AC Delco "professional" accessory belt kit. What could possibly worn out tensioner and idler pulley from the old belt. Spin the idler pulley and it's bent! I had to replace it. You've got to be kidding me, right? Returned it to the owner after removing it, packing it up and returning it. It was quick and easy to get my parts at the local parts store. Despite not being AC Delco parts as I had hoped, the idler spins nicely and the parts are made in the USA. Thanks for the info. I will definitely keep this in mind next time I look.

The quality of genuine AC Delco replacement parts cannot be matched. I had replaced my belts prematurely because I thought they were wearing out. Local parts stores provided me with the belt and idler I needed. After I installed this kit, the new tensioner did not bounce around like the old one did. There was also a noticeable difference in the noise level of the belt. In the event that your four has 80k or more miles, you should consider upgrading.
