Can you tell me how thick these plates are?

They have a 1/8" thickness, which I measured.

My screw in studs are different lengths. Does that mean I have to change the length of them?

To install them, you will not have to increase the base thread length.

This is made for screw-in studs. If you want to use screw in studs properly, you will need to decrease the size of your stud bosses. In my opinion, you cannot utilize these without reducing the size of your stud bosses.

I like this It was necessary for me to re-write There was a small adjustment to be made on my build, as the rods were about to touch. To prevent pinching, you can slightly center them so they don't touch the push rods. The importance of this cannot be stressed enough! It would be better if they didn't tie up and wreck anything! If you do valve lash, you will notice that the rod tightens while spinning and then frees up - then tightens again and frees up. That indicates that the pushrod is in contact with the guide plate, so you need to remove the rocker stud and reinsert Taking this step seriously will allow you to avoid posts on forums asking "why did my engine fail after 5 hours" and similar queries.

I was not able to use it with an 113 factory The factory heads of my 1990 Corvette were converted to regular guide push rods, and this kit changed the roller tips of my corvette so that they weren't aligned perfectly

When I shift the rocker arm to the side, I'm sure it will close enough on the valve tip for the rocker body to come into contact with it. It is a waste of money for me, and I already have the adjustable guide plates I need. As far as the aluminum head goes, it is a factory aluminum It has been my experience on this casting but it may not be the same for other castings.
