Questions & Answers

Do you have an adjustable one or do you need it. Will the adjustable one cost 99, or should I purchase the fixed one?

The one I used for my 6 is the exact same. There was a time when 0 was the only option. Everything seemed to work fine. The old plastic insert was too small for the new one, so I had to use part of the old setup. This did a lot of good for quieting the injectors down. There is probably no need for adjustable unless you are trying to calibrate something

My fuel pressure gauge is an aftermarket item. Can I still have it?

If you already have an aftermarket fuel pressure gauge installed, it can be used even after this part is installed.

Could you please tell me where I can purchase Previously, I was at 69 psi before i installed this regulator. Now I am at 35 psi. The spring on my original BKUE is a little longer than what I expected. ?

In my opinion, the blue spring serves as an upgrade (replacement). In my opinion, I had no issues with

The situation is not good
3/5

We installed the regulator and one week later we installed The situation is not good. One week after installing the regulator, I can't get the truck to start. They took the truck to the shop for diagnostics and found the regulator to be faulty I have four fuel injectors that are bad and two that are on their way out because it starved the fuel injectors. In my direct conversation with Sinister, they said flat out that they would not fix the injectors that their part ruined. It would be a waste of my time to work with them again!.

Customer service is overpriced and not as good as it could be It is best to buy the generics
3/5

In addition to the red spring kit, I bought a blue spring kit, which I titled "Sinister Diesel. ". To get a chance to install it, I had to wait a few weeks. In just a few hours after I installed, my pressure dropped to 30 The PSI was 35 compared to the 45 The price was at 50 (which isn't bad at all). My hat came off and I re- wore it I installed, changed all filters, etc. I still couldn't figure it out so I called Sinister Diesel, hoping that they could offer some advice. Would you like to know the It's just a simple kit that we buy from OEM and install on our casing. Some other issue must be at play. Therefore, I wondered, "Could it possibly be a defective gasket or something?" Is it possible to get a replacement just " He said no and went on to talk about how they buy OEM parts cheap, slap an OEM casing on it and then sell it for Finally, I took it to my buddy who owns a shop and asked him to take a look at it to determine if I had missed anything. Could you tell me what his diagnosis is? There was a problem with the blue spring kit. Because that was all that changed to begin with, it was obvious. Having spent hundreds of dollars on one kit, I now have to buy another to install.

Installation is quick and easy
5/5

That was my first time using a diesel engine. The diesel engine is not my cup of tea. The ability to tear down and rebuild a gasser is lacking, however, when it comes to The instructions are easy to follow and the installation is a breeze. Unfortunately I do not own a FP gauge so I am unable to provide you with that specific information, but I replaced the OEM The problem is solved. I can't express how important a fuel pressure gauge is. The big blue housing is cool under the hood! *edit* *edit* Still can't Is this something you've been doing for a year or two? As a result of this, I lost an injector, and while it was down and before I put the new injectors in, I added a gauge, and found I had little more than 30 pounds. The smaller one I took apart and the larger one I took apart I was amazed that there was any pressure at all, as the ring was deteriorating and a large chunk of it had become lodged in the plunger. I don't know if it was the biodiesel, which is all I can get, or what, but the boring didn't last. Add a gauge and don't just trust that this will fix it and you won't have to worry about it Putting all of that aside, I've now replaced it with sinisterly regulated returns.

It was impossible for me to stop the leak in the fuel block
3/5

It was impossible for me to stop the leak in the fuel block. The factory block came with the blue spring and seals. I turned out to be fine with those.

Using this product will save you money on costly repairs! Your stock system will benefit from this upgrade, as it will prevent the blowing up of injectors in the near future
5/5

After watching some YouTube videos on "how to install," it takes about 20 minutes to get it installed. This was the first thing that I installed on my 03 F350 as soon as I got the truck, based on comments from those who did not install one and had injectors go out.

The fuel pressure gauge does not fit with this device
3/5

This seems to be a good plan. The building is well built and the quality is good. The software is installed on my iPhone The sinister diesel one was designed for 0 powerstrokes, but I had to go back to using the original OEM one because I tried installing a fuel pressure gauge and it would not fit. A much larger sinister lurks beneath the surface. No matter how you slice it, Sinister uses OEM springs and O rings. The gauge probably has been designed with a fuel pressure gauge in mind, since sinister designs them that way. But I guess I won't complain.

It was a horrible experience
3/5

From the bottom, the bottle kept leaking. It turns out that the allen screws are too short and do not provide a good hold. The worst nightmare and waste of time and money I have ever experienced. I went to napa and purchased OEM for $ 54, and it Although, there's something cool about that blue color of the Sinister! Ha ha ha.

Without any problems, I got the job done
5/5

I had no issues with these. My grandsons installed them on my truck. Despite being of excellent quality, the part is relatively inexpensive. I was pleased with the packaging of the part, and it arrived.
