The landscape trailer was designed with this strategy on both sides. This drawer handles is easy to use and when you pull the handle outward you can swing it up and down until it locks open 180 degrees up and down/left and Thank you. I hope it is helpful. It's been durable, but the hole on the small part (left side in photo description) appeared to enlarge and rattle against the other parts of the screen. I originally installed it on my trailer, but it was in use for over a decade. I used this as a replacement, and it works

There is a trailer I have that was made myself This is a decent little trailer with a ramp gate at the back. One of the most important things the fabricator considered was how to securely mount the rear ramp in its Large dowel pins were welded to a chain with an ending bolt through them to facilitate slipping in and locking the door. I was on the street when this ramp dropped down on me. It is unsafe. This has allowed me to weld these parts onto the existing rigged hardware, and I am very satisfied with the results. The construction of these is solid. Their position is fixed once they are locked in. The lock and unlock process is simple. A ramp gate is held in place by those holding it closed. Safety is greatly improved.

The latch may be used with a stainless steel strike plate and a hole drilled in it as a latch for a door. It works great, and the rounded corners make it much more user-friendly. There is only one con here, and that is the amount of force required to open it. This may be overkill for applications that are light in weight.

This was welded to the ramp of my trailer to ensure that it would not move. Heavy duty and easy to operate, these make opening and closing the gate much easier.
