I installed this on a 2019 WRX and it reduced oil burn in the exhaust, but because it prevents oil from entering the sump, the hose appears to be sweating condensation and oil. Aside from that, the T connect is useless. Only use if your exhaust contains an excessive amount of oil.
Significantly reduced the amount of smoke emitted by the exhaust! If you don't tighten the clamps enough during installation, it may leak a little, as mine did until I did.
I'm driving a 2017 Subaru WRX. The simplest way to install is to remove the left radiator fan and cut about an inch below the sensor with a sharp knife, then about a half inch off or however wide the restrictor is, with a sharp knife. I only used two of the larger clamps that came with the kit. I didn't use a lift or remove the hose during the installation.
It only took about 15 minutes to install, and it eliminated the stubborn smoke on idle issue!.
Work fine.
All of the oil odors and visuals were gone as a result of this. I am extremely pleased with the outcome!.
