Trays from the factory that actually work

I always replace the trays for peace of mind when I'm this far into an LS (Heads off) and it's been over 100,000 miles. A cam will be wiped out by a spun lifter, so this is merely cheap insurance.

Original equipment is always the best

If you're rebuilding an engine, you don't want to do it twice, and some parts are best left alone. One of them is pictured above. It fits perfectly and secures the lifters rollers in the proper position with no loose play in the cam shaft. The small additional cost is well worth it.

The ones I took out were filthy and unattached to the lifters; they appeared to be a knock-off replacement. Do yourself a favor and buy OEM for this part because this small plastic part is critical to your engine's proper operation.

If you keep your vehicle stock, these won't fit

The Displacement on Demand motors are incompatible with these. If you want to keep your engine stock, don't buy this. The product is good, but it does not work with the Active Fuel Management system that I purchased for my 2011 5. The Silverado is the third vehicle in the Silverado family.

The item was exactly as described. It's not worth it to source a part from an unknown manufacturer a second time, especially if it's a critical part, and make sure the bolt torque is within specification.

Although there are no "GM" or "AC Delco" markings, the quality appears to be good
