The entire intake manifold does not need to be replaced. The valve runner linkage (arm) can be purchased separately, and it is a simple fix that takes only 5 minutes to complete.

I got it for Sonic 1 at a great price for the same original part that the dealer wanted $570 for. 8l. When the intake tuning arm snaps and there are no replacement parts available, the only option is to replace the intake manifold. It was a challenge to change it on the Sonic! The intake must emerge from the vehicle's undercarriage. You'll need to get rid of the following items: The exhaust pipe, the passenger CV axle, the alternator, the starter, and the transmission mount are all items that need to be replaced. Beginning at the very top: Everything connected to the intake manifold should be unplugged and disconnected. Remove the manifold from the engine by unscrewing it and pulling it out from under the car. Replace the old one in the opposite order. When you remove the CV axle, ATF will leak out. Plan ahead of time. I spent about 4 hours on it. 3 hours, but I'm slow and this was my first time. br>After changing the oil, the car seems to run better. Perhaps it was the placebo effect, or perhaps it was the new injectors.
Sonic/Cruze 8 liter GM engine On GM's 1, this is an ideal replacement part because it matches OEM fitment. Both the Chevrolet Sonic and the Chevrolet Cruze have an 8-liter engine. IMPORTANT: br>br> This part isn't the same as the previous one. The Buick Encore and Chevy Trax, as well as the Sonic and Cruze, all have a 4L turbo engine. Just in case anyone gets their engines/parts mixed up, I thought I'd mention it.
As a result, I ordered the entire package and only used the tuning valve. The installation is a pain in the buttocks; I had to modify a tool to get the bottom screw out because the transmission flange gets in the way and makes changing the tuning valve more difficult.
00 for the manufacturer to install, and from start to finish, it only took about 2 hours. There is no longer a check engine light on the dashboard, and the car gets better gas mileage and runs like it used to when the original one was working properly. If your Chevy Cruze has a P2076 code, this is the part you'll need because the sensor isn't sold separately. My sensor was dead, preventing the intake manifold from opening and closing properly, resulting in power loss, poor gas mileage, and the car dying on occasion when coming to a stop or at a stop light. br>Extremely pleased client!.
Installed on a 2014 Chevy Cruze 1 and it works perfectly.
The intake runner actuator and linkage, as well as the fuel rail and fuel injectors, are all included. At the dealership, these range in price from 450 to 600 dollars. As a result, this is a fantastic price!.
