No, this is only for the newer 5 models from 2014 onwards. 3 and 6. There are two engines available.

Yes, it is compatible with the newer 5. Three L83 motors are used in this project. To get the most HP out of your engine, you should also get the 95mm L86/ Lt1 throttle body.

Two intakes have been replaced. This intake manifold was required for my 5. 3 to 6. On my 2017 Silverado, I swapped out two intake manifolds. The intake arrived in a box that was well-packaged, and it was also encased in a blow-molded case. There were no cracks or damage on the manifold when I examined it. This, as well as the 6, were installed. My truck had two throttle bodies, and the engine ran perfectly without a check engine light or any tuning. If you're buying it to complete the 5. 3 to 6. You'll need to purchase the 6 in addition to the 2 manifold swap. Due to the pcv port on the 6, you will need two PCV hoses. The number two is not in the same place as the number five. Regular heater hose and fittings can also be used, but I recommend spending the extra $20 to get the factory hose for a cleaner look. I highly recommend this product because the fit was perfect on everything.

Stop putting off getting the L86 intake for your L83 and get it now! I switched from an L86 to a 2014 L83

It came in excellent packaging. The installation was simple, and L86 bolted up without a hitch. I purchased a L86 throttle body as well as all new gaskets. The intake manifold cover and those dreadful Christmas tree zip ties on the backside of the intake were the only issues. After installation, there are no more check engine lights. This modification was a must for me because I have TSP headers! It improved throttle response and sound! I'm going to get a tune to really bring it to life, so if you're thinking about doing this swap, go ahead and do it. You won't be sorry.

Improvements to the L83

Purchased as an upgrade for my LT 5. 3 l83. The throttle body was a ported katech. can feel a more responsive throttle.

For the price, this is an excellent purchase; however, don't forget to order gaskets as well

It arrived in a shell inside a box, which provided excellent shipping protection. There were no items that were broken or that were missing. I wish it came with the intake gaskets, but I didn't notice that it didn't. However, this is a fantastic purchase.
