Cover for the camshaft. Look up the failure of the PCV valve on this unit on the internet. When your GM 55573746 - GM 55573746 - GM 55573746 - GM 55573746 - GM 55573746 - When the Camshaft Cover (Replaced by Part: 25198874) fails, your vehicle will begin to display error codes. br>On Amazon, the price is reasonable, and it is an OEM brand. br>If the camshaft cover diaphram fails, one possible cause is that the manifold PCV has failed. If you only replace the valve cover, it will quickly fail again. Both of these items need to be replaced. On a 2012 Cruze LT 1, I used this. 4l turbo.
You'll also need the valve cover if you're purchasing this item to fix a CHECK ENGINE problem. Because GM hasn't fixed the PCV valve design, I gave it a middle rating. Around the 50K mile mark, it starts to fail. When the PCV valve fails, it puts too much strain on the vacuum diaphragm, shredding it. The vacuum diaphragm is found in the valve cover and is not a repairable component. The valve cover and intake manifold must be replaced as a fix. The average cost of a part is less than $250. 00 for both, and if you know your way around an engine, you can finish it in less than two hours. Installation on the intake can take up to 5 hours, and it can be a difficult task. Shipping was very quick.
If you own a 2015 or 2016 Trax, you'll notice a rough idle and higher fuel/oil consumption after 60k miles (usually). This usually indicates that the intake manifold's check valve has failed, resulting in a high vacuum in the valve cover, which causes the PCV to blow. You can replace the PCV and valve cover, but the problem will persist unless this component is also replaced. The valve and PCV are not replaceable without completely new assemblies, which is a poor design by GM, but that is a different issue. br>br>This part appears to be genuine OEM, it fit perfectly, and it fixed the issue. I've driven for ten thousand miles with no issues. I also appreciate the quick shipping, which enabled me to quickly get the vehicle back on the road. When the check valve wears out after another 50k miles, I'll purchase again.
The fuel rail and throttle body are not included. This is my initial reaction to the package, which I just received. It's in excellent condition, having been well-protected and packaged. There are no missing components, gaskets, or pieces. I was a little hesitant to order it at first because there were no pictures, but hopefully these photos will help the next person. When I receive it on my 2011 1, I'll update this review with photos. Cruze, LTZ, 4 LTZ, 4 LTZ, 4 LTZ, 4.
4 LT . This was purchased for my Cruze 1 from the year 2013. 4 LT. When I came to a stop, my car jerked back and forth, and I had four check engine codes. This fixed one of them, as well as preventing the car from jerking back and forth at stops.
There are four turbochargers in this car, and it has 60k miles on it. The best price was delivered to my door the quickest, and the installation was simple and straightforward. It fixed my smoking at full boost full throttle and letting off at 49 mph to no throttle. My oil consumption has been reduced. It's a silly problem with the check valve. You should replace the intake once every 60,000 - 100,000 hours. Ninety thousand kilometers. An oem design flaw places a silicone check valve in an inaccessible location, causing your engine to eat it and pressurize your crankcase, destroying the non-serviceable part. The check valve in the pcv to turbocharger inlet tube is destroyed by a serviceable pcv valve in the valve cover. This part, along with the ancillary parts it ruined, cost me nearly $300 in total.
It was a perfect fit for my. I got this today and put it in. It was the perfect fit for my 1. Cruze 4 liters 14 cruze I was hesitant to buy it because there were no pictures, but I took a chance and it arrived in brand new, unopened packaging from General Motors. All of my work is done by myself, and removal and installation are a breeze. The intake and gaskets, including the throttle body gasket, are the only things included. If I run into any issues, I'll let you know.
Seals are included in the package. Fixes the problem with the internal check valve that isn't working. If the orange piece is missing from the manifold's center port, you'll need to replace it. Multiple trouble codes, blown oil seals, and damage to the diaphragm inside the valve cover will result as a result of this. The intake manifold and valve cover are usually both in need of replacement on most cars.
