Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee XJ4? 0 liters straight six?

It's highly unlikely that the required freeze plug diameter has changed from 92 to 94. They worked fine for me. I recently installed a 94 motor in my 92 and everything appears to be the same.

Will these fit on a Jeep Wrangler 2 from 1995? Is it a five-cylinder engine?

To be honest, I have no idea.

Is this part compatible with a 1988 Jeep XJ?

It will, but the ones sold by Autozone are more suitable.

What is the total number of plugs in the kit? A Jeep 4. 0 employs the use of seven freeze plugs. ?

I strongly disagree, I got 5 freeze plugs for the side of the block, 1 for the cylinder head, and between the engine block and transmission comes with a dumb steel plug that will rust eventually and start the process all over again, and believe me you don't want to do that job twice, but if they had included two more brass plugs for the back of the block, the kit would have been fine.

This is high-quality material
4/5

If you're a Jeep 4x4, you've come to the right place. This kit will not replace all of your plugs, 0 guy. On the driver's side of the block, 0 will use 5 of the 2" plugs. On the back of the engine, there are three additional plugs: one 2' plug for the back of your cylinder head and one 2" plug behind your bellhousing- The one for your head is directly below this one. There are a total of seven 2-inch plugs. This kit only comes with six. This kit's larger metal (silver) plug goes slightly lower and behind the bellhousing on the passenger side. It's an oil passage, so it's not flammable. Makeup with brass tones. This is good stuff, but you'll need to go out and find a single 2" plug to finish your 4. Replacing all but one is a bad idea! That is not something you should do!.

Works for WJ 4 in 2004
5/5

2WD 0L Special Edition 0L Special Edition 0L Special Edition 0L Special Edition It did exactly what it said it would do. For the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition, this is the perfect match. 0L, 2WD, AT, AT, AT, AT, AT, AT, AT, AT, AT, AT, Two freeze plugs can be found under the transmission bell housing on the back of the engine block. One of them is excessively large (i. e. size isn't standard). All of the plugs and lugs are included in this kit. Plugs are required, including one oversized freeze plug that must be ordered separately as a special order item.

For the Jeep 4, this is the complete set
5/5

On the infamous Jeep 4, replacing the head. I discovered the core plugs were rusted through and had holes in my 0L inline six. Following the replacement of the cylinder head due to cracks (a big surprise on a 4. ) 0), as well as the head gasket, radiator, and hoses (both radiators). The rust eventually gave way to holes after many flushes (heater) and many, many flushes. I wanted brass freeze plugs because they don't rust like steel and are relatively inexpensive (around $30). 40% more. Make sure you do it correctly the first time. All I need now is a square drive socket to replace the block drains. Another Amazon tool purchase, thank you very much.

Fitted a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 4 but didn't fit a 1998 Jeep Wrangler
3/5

6 cylinder engine with a displacement of 0 liters This plug was bigger than the one that came out of my Jeep Wrangler 4 in 1997. 6 cylinder engine with a displacement of 0 liters I cleaned the plug hole and placed it in the freezer, but it would not fit. When compared to the original, the diameter difference was visible (it was only half the thickness of a dime, but it was noticeable enough to prevent it from fitting). ) I went to AutoZone and bought a set that was perfect for the job. The plug itself appears to be of good quality; however, one star is deducted because it did not fit the vehicle for which it was advertised.

Installing them is more difficult than buying them at Autozone
3/5

I couldn't separate one of the brass plugs from the larger steel plug when the product arrived, so I had to buy another set from Autozone just to get the one plug I needed. br>br>The one plug I used from Autozone fit better and was much easier to install. br>br>I should have gotten it from Autozone to begin with.

My 2000 Jeep XJ-4 is too big for it
3/5

It wasn't the right fit. This did not fit my Jeep XJ 4 from 2000. They were about 2. 25 inches in diameter. 040". The older ones are around 2 inches tall. 004". I measured them after a ten-minute struggle to get it to fit. I found some that were exactly the same size as the old ones at Autozone and they fit perfectly.

The brass plugs are in good condition, but the cam plug is the incorrect size.

Nice set
5/5

This is an excellent collection. Even if yours appear to be in good shape, make use of them. If you have steel that you can't see but is rusting, replace them anyway because you're already there. The set was extremely well-made and fitted perfectly.
