JUNK. GARBAGE. SH1T. I wish I could give these items a 0 star rating because they are garbage. I finally got around to putting them to use, and the results are impressive. Bolts appeared to be far too long, bending the bolt, but everything appeared to be fine when I went to torque it. No resistance was ever felt. This was not an issue with any other brand I tried. I haven't put a single mile on them yet and they're all ruined, and I'm hoping my cylinder jackets aren't ruined as well. GARBAGE, GARBAGE, GARBAGE, GARBAGE, Threads were also a waste of time from the beginning. There will be no more.
All of the information provided by previous customers is accurate. The thread pitch difference between the retainer and the bolt is 100% different. Cheap quality!.
On the other hand, only one of the bars had good threads, while the other two were crossthread right out of the bag. I'd suggest purchasing a tap with the same thread and using it to clean the threads before installing it.
The bolts and the bars did not have the same thread. As a result, I had to go out and purchase bolts as well as fabricate new bars.
I took them out of the box and put them together to make sure everything was going to work before installing them, and something went wrong. All three bolts broke off, which was a huge disappointment, and I couldn't drill and retap them because the holes in the plugs were too small, so I had to buy metal and new bolts.
The company has no idea how to tap. I'm not sure how an "engineering" firm doesn't know how to tap a hole, but the bolts don't thread into the retainer properly. I didn't check before I started threading the first one in, and when I tried to remove it, I broke the bolt. Get the kdd ones if you have an extra $25.
