No the 4. The engine in the 01 6 cylinder was made by AMC.

A good build kit for a low budget

Almost everything you'll need is included in the kit. The lack of a rear main seal in the kit was one of my pet peeves. That necessitated a trip to Napa Valley. Aside from that, it's fairly comprehensive.
