Is there a way to make this work with a 5? 3 liters from a suburban from the year 2003?

It's a crossover year, depending on the manufacturer's date.

Is this compatible with a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban K1500 4x4 5? Do you have any thoughts on the 3 Vortec?

It certainly ought to. It is designed to fit a Silverado 5 from the year 2002. 3 out of 3

What happened to the rest? Timing chain, oil pump, and main bearings are all missing. I didn't get a notification that it would be delivered in two packages?

My package arrived in three different boxes. Your pistons should not be stored alongside your head gaskets.

Bearings that meet industry standards?

You must inform the seller of the bearing size you require. It's best to take your crank shaft to a machine shop and have everything measured before placing an order. Bearings are available in two types: STD (standard) and. if you're under the age of ten, or if you're over the age 020 is the area code. Make sure the connecting rods are in good shape. If you're not sure, check with the machine shop to see if they appear to be repairable. If the crank main journals or crank rod journals are damaged, you'll need to order undersized main and/or rod bearings to compensate for the small diameter of these journals. As they turn these surfaces to remove any damage, they become smaller. Because of its reduced ability to withstand the strain / pressure against it, once a certain thickness is exceeded, the piece is no longer usable. br>The cam bearings will not be sized, but you should have them installed by a machine shop. It's best to open the package and bring them in to have them installed. If none of this makes sense to you, you're probably not ready to build an engine.

With the exception of the oil pump, everything appears to be in good order

Everything appears to be in good working order, with the exception of the oil pump. It appears that they need to take a closer look at their oil pumps. It's smashed to bits, and metal fragments fly out. It arrived separately from the rest of the kit, and I have yet to receive a response from Redline, despite sending them two emails with photos. No response has yet been received.
