It is a great product for the money and for replacing the The kit comes with everything you need for installation, but the flanges on the inside had sharp edges, so the reason for my concern is that they may affect the strength of the lock. As the car gets hotter or the flow of coolant pressure increases, the edges of those pipes seem to crack. They are ground down so they are flat, which when they block in the future will not happen.
All the seams are intact and I'm not experiencing any This is better than the junky oem ones that were made of plastic. We've used high tack oil/coolant sealant on the gasket, and no coolant has been lost. It took me a while to be convinced of the product, but I am happily satisfied with it now.
The coolant temp sensor leaks from the sensor, but the product appears to be well manufactured. A number of coolant sensors, as well as o-rings are in use OEM rings are still leaking from the dealership, even when they were purchased from the dealer. Due to the fact that I had to replace coolant flanges because I purchased this kit because I was tired of having to replace them. My only regret is having to return them, if it had not been so hard to ship back. A little too much room for the coolant temperature sensor to get a good seal seems to exist. There was also quite a bit of flashing that had to be trimmed down so that the hoses would seal properly. I guess if you order a set it would be fine, but not mine.

The fiber fibers are a good alternative to the OEM part. I had to replace the OEM fiber fibre. Due to engine heat, I've had to replace a plastic part twice within 3 years I've now had it for nearly 2 years, and it has not warped or leaked. Although I have yet to replace all of the OEM parts with these cast aluminum parts, I intend to do so soon.
Buying this product should be approached with caution. It should perfectly match the one in the car during initial setup. Don't let it sit around for too long.
The factory pieces are very fragile, but these are much tougher.
It has 1 cylinder and a 2003 VW Jetta. One of the two kits in the order was not usable, even though there were two sets, each for two cars. You could see through the holes in the units in the pictures. To use them, we had to have a welding shop welded them up. I was very unimpressed with the casting.
