There is less frustration with rubber gaskets than with all possible combinations of paper gasket with rubber tubing, glass tubing without rubber tubing, new thermostat housing, etc. on both an old and new intake manifold, this is the ONLY gasket which did not leak under pressure (no rubber tubing with gasket). An application was made for a 1990 (smaller water neck) small block Chrysler LA318, which required a manual transmission. In addition to the same thermostat dimension, but too-far apart holes made it difficult to install. Once the holes were drilled out, it fit smoothly. This gasket was sold by Mr gasket on their website as a fit for my engine, so I assume that's what they meant. The paper gaskets do require a little more work, but as long as the gaskets don't leak, this is a lot less expensive than using an O-ring The neck of the water bottle.
Gasket. Camaro with 327 engine, 1967. I had a 327 in a 67 Camaro with the gasket and it worked. A rubber gasket was better than a paper gasket, which I did not want to use. It was recommended by a friend and I have been using it ever since. There were no leaks and it worked well.
Gasket who performs. My experience in building performance and stock engines spans over 40 years, and this is a "jewel" of a product. Does the job When other high quality paper gaskets disintegrated and leaked, I found Mr. Gasket and decided it would be a good replacement. I respect this brand for its Does the job quite well. A paper t'stat gasket is not worth the risk of your expensive engine. Mr. Gasket is the way to go.
For the turbo end of an intercooler on a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT, this gasket will work. The rubber ones in the stock kit were pathetic, but these are a vast improvement I highly recommend this book!.
The manufacturer claims it fits, but is a bit wide. In order to use it again, I have to return it. This has been a waste of both time and money for me.
The item is a direct fit for all flanged IHI VF and TD engines. The item is approved by Tris and is on the Rebuilding Engine Shopping List. A new series of turbos will be available in mid-2018 The turbo Subarus being produced in the 2000s up to the present A TMIC connection is available. The TMIC is absolutely reusable and well suited for OEM and aftermarket uses. Compared to OEM gaskets, this is far better.
The fit of the gasket is good, but it has to be tightened up pretty tightly to hold your cooling system in place. This sheet is thick, but it is also flat and void of any recesses. To install the aftermarket water neck on my SB305, I required a recess.
I would have given it a higher rating, but I didn't need it. 400-series Pontiac.
