The one I installed is on a 2008 Focus with a radiator.
There is an o-ring attached to it An o-ring forms the seal between the head and the connection.
In my case, the plug was damaged. It was possible to use the optional parts to connect a 1/4" water line or plug the water leak. Although the bung for the temperature sensor was threaded, it was sealed. I have to return this. My questions were not answered by these answers. The seller told me it had a sender port, so I bought it.

You must be aware of how buried this part is in the engine bay if you're reading this. I was able to match this part perfectly and given that it has a few options for hoses, it should cover many other vehicles as well. Fit perfectly with the factory part, and no modifications were needed (apart from installing the plug). Product worked very well and I saved some good money on the repair by doing it.
Fits perfectly for the purpose for which it was intended, fixed the leak. I recommend replacing the thermostat at the same time when replacing these parts.
I bought it even though Amazon said it wouldn't fit my 09 Escape, but it worked perfectly and solved my.
It was a perfect fit for my 2010 Ford Focus.
It's not aluminum like the original, but it works well. I can't tell the difference between the original and this part, but it fits fine. Even though it was a bit short, it fit well.
Exactly what I needed for my 2008 Ford Focus. I've used it for 9 months now, and it works just fine.
Arrived within a short period of time.
This is perfect.
