I installed this on my 2011 M3 E90 with no problems. After reading that the stock screw has a history of snapping, I decided to replace it as a preventative measure. Despite the fact that it is under the hood, it feels and looks cool.

Compared to the stock plastic screw, this one is much better. When completing the overhaul of the coolant system, I snapped a brittle plastic screw due to overtightening, and this was chosen as a replacement. This can be used as a replacement, or as an upgrade, to protect against the eventual snapping of that stock plastic screw! I appreciate everything you have done for me.

Each time I work on my cooling system, I find I have to use an air bleeder to finish the repair and this can take up to a week if you don't have one on hand to do it.
