You should also include the cap and the coolant sensor level
It should fit but I recommend avoiding this brand after purchasing one and it leaked around the seam, they sent me another one and it started leaking again after 3 months, and the low sensor light always stayed on, so I went to a local junk yard and got a new
There is no problem with this mounting system fitting
This is what I installed on my 2000 Cavalier. In fact, it came with a cap, as it is shown in the photo

The quality of production is very good, I believe it is equivalent to OEM. On my 99 Alero, I decided to replace the old coolant reservoir. I bought it for my daughter to use for On eBay and other online outlets, OEM is always mentioned as being Unfortunately in this case OEM was not a good choice because the antifreeze in the tank can't be seen because it is yellowed so badly There is a level sensor and a drain hose for the overflow in this tank. I looked at the hose connections and they are just like the OEM tank in that they have metal sleeves inside. When coming to check the antifreeze level, it is much simpler to see and for someone who is not used to that, it makes it much simpler. The Ebay shop is selling used OEM tanks that Diehard is claiming are better than the one I stripped off and they do not appear to be easier to see through. The tank fits perfectly, and once I put the hoses on I was well pleased with how the diameter of the hoses matched the diameter of the tank. As my expectation, the diameter of the wire may be off slightly, but that is not the case. Dorman Evans has tagged these tanks with a 800 number so you can call with questions. It is a very well made tank. Our order was much cheaper than buying at the local parts store and it arrived within a short timeframe. As I was kicking myself for not changing the old one sooner, I was thinking I should have changed it earlier. There is a real difference when it comes to this. As well as the radiator cap, it comes with it.
Checking the connector and the wiring, I discovered that it is most likely the sensor in the reservoir that is defective. In response to my call, Dorman's service department is available A spokesperson from Amazon responded to my call and said that the reservoir should be replaced since the part was bought through Amazon, they would contact the buyer and arrange for a replacement part or So I said I still needed the reservoir, and they let me have the replacement part for no charge. I received a call from Amazon two days later saying that the new reservoir was being shipped. The software has been installed and is working perfectly! You can't beat both Dorman and Amazon for their excellent customer service!.
Just over $300 will be cost to install a new coolant reservoir, according to my mechanic. It was a decision I firmly believed in, and I am glad I made it myself!
This is a perfect example of why it's a good idea to do some repairs yourself! I saved about $270 and it took me less than 20 minutes to remove the old part and install the new one. All you need to do is remove 3 hoses and 1 nut, and you're done! In order to avoid spilling coolant all over the floor, I used a manual transfer pump to suck the coolant out of the tank before I removed the main hose. A small issue either way, but a simple way to avoid sloppy work. I'd recommend it to other DIY ladies if you're thinking of trying it out. It's super easy and there are some good videos on YouTube. According to me, this is an excellent first project.
THE UPDATE IS As of Sept. A few days into the installation, this part failed to perform under pressure, resulting in a leak. This is the fifth year. It lasted 14 years when it was brand new OEM. There might be some kind of mistake and I need a replacement as soon as possible, There is no way I can count on it lasting more than two years. I will return the stars to five this time. If it is, I will increase them by one. The original version of this review reads like this The replacement part looks identical to the original ACDelco part. In spite of the picture showing a hose and cap, I didn't expect them to come with There is also a hose and cap included, which I was happy to find. There are metal sleeves inserted in the connectors of the hoses as well, so it appears to be the same as the ACDelco part. Now that the plastic is really transparent it's much easier to see the coolant than before on my Grand Am 3 2001 Pontiac - it had been heat-worn for 14 years. It is a 4L V6 engine. The entire part is designed just like the ACDelco part, so I will start with 5 stars and hopefully it lasts long. I am not sure I am going to own the car in 14 years' time, but I hope it does. It's so funny.
It came as arranged and arrived within the expected time frame. This took him maybe twenty minutes, and part of that time he spent checking for leaks from other areas. We have resolved the major issues and the old gal is on the road again.
Once the overheating issue was solved, it began to leak coolant. This is not a coolant reservoir I would recommend. It was mostly a problem of two types. As soon as the cap is removed, there is a problem with the gasket. Every time the gasket blew, it blew again. Coolant would ooze out of the tube in the second problem. It turned out that the second problem was not caused by the first. I replaced the cap with one that had a different design, but the coolant continued to drip. I was no longer having this problem after I replaced the reservoir with a different one that had no hose and a different type of cap.
Compared to my old one, this takes a few minutes to replace and is much clearer. In addition to what other commenters have said, they tend to leak around the smaller seams on top. After I bought the epoxy I repaired the old one and have been running it without leaking for 6 years now. Since I wanted a new clean one for a while, this one was perfect for me. The new one will begin leaks after a few months, so I'll let you know if I need to edit this.
After our last one cracked, this one has worked like a charm. The old one was easily removed with only a few bolts and the new one was very convenient to install. Would certainly buy again.
