I have a first escape 2013 and found it to be an easy installation. Do not worry about leaks that happen during installation. Make sure you buy enough antifreeze to replace whatever you lose during installation.

The installation process is very straightforward. Getting the hose clamp closed back on was the only difficult part. That's not the only thing. A coolant tank like this is highly recommended. I was pleasantly surprised to find it in such great condition. Nothing seems to be a problem.

It's a great value and there are no leaks It has been around for about six months

It is actually holding up really well and manages to cool my Focus really well, even in this heat. I was expecting it to leak and stop working, but it has not happened. This would be a good choice.
