There is no way to tell. The gift I got for my sister was just delivered. There was a Volkswagen in her garage. The car she was driving was an automatic, not a stick shift. It was my regret not to be able to assist.
I would ask Dorman directly here techsupport@dormanproducts. Dorman says not, but I suggest contacting them directly. It contains commas
Take a look at the picture and compare it with the coolant reservoir in your Due to the fact that I own a 2012 Passat with a 2.0L engine, I think it must be the same. A similar engine is available in the Jetta, which is perfect for this harness. It seems like other models from the same maker have the same Make sure you check out the Dorman website to be on the safe side. Best of luck!

A German engineer must have designed the car so you have to remove the motor mounts and jack up the engine to get to the water pump and serpentine belt. On my way to decide whether to pay $700 to keep a twelve year old car or toss it out, I discovered the hose on the reservoir was cracked and coolant was leaking. Since replacing it with this one, I no longer have to worry about coolant. This is my happy place.
(Fixed) Fits fine, except the connection to the sensor. A 2nd generation Jetta will replace the MkV. The fifth language. Perfect fit. Only issue is that I have to restart the car every time the "Low Coolant" light comes on because the sensor connector is too long. Could anyone tell me if there is a fix? Please find below the fix for the problem. Basically, this is the part of the connector with the wires sticking out of it, attached to the car. It's the one with the spacer inside it. I had a purple one. Pulling out the connector with a small screwdriver or pry tool will allow you to slide a spacer to the side of the connector with a port, and pull it all the way out. Tah Tsi- That's it! It will fit as if it were Do you have any idea what I mean? Please see the attached photos.
It is a solid piece of equipment for its price! Installing it was effortless. The replacement part for my 2011 GTI MK6 is direct fit. I'll have to wait and see if it holds up over time.
It appears that the sensor plug has a small problem. Exactly the same quality and performance as an OEM part. There was a crack in my old reservoir, and this fixed it! Generally, I seem to have no problems with my sensor, but the plug for the sensor didn't fit as perfectly as the original, however, it worked well enough Hope the connector holds, and it won't lead to future issues with the VW Tiguan. It may have been an isolated event with the VW Tiguan. Apart from that, this is a great part at a great.
It is much cheaper than a dealer, and only 1/2 as much as a local parts store. The vent cap has been replaced. You should ensure the cap of your car is sealed if it gets too hot. In my experience, a faulty pressure cap has lead to a lot of waterpumps being replaced. Generally, coolant is boiled out of the overflow as soon as the overflow turns on. The hardware from this part was as good or better than the OEM part. It takes three screws and a few hose clamps to get the engine running again.
You can follow numerous videos on YouTube that provide step-by-step instructions for installation. It is not necessary to have any special tools, but it helps to have something you Have the right coolant on hand to top off the system, in case you need to deal with the coolant. It is highly recommended that you just get the pre-release Certified and uncertified stuff mixed together.
Although I would like to give this product a 5 star rating, there is a manufacturing defect on the two pins where the sensor is connected. In addition, the ends of the car plug are blunt instead of tapered, which can cause the connection to become damaged and not function After emailing the manufacturer a few times, and even providing my VIN number to ensure it was the right part for my vehicle, I wasn't able to resolve my issue. As of now, it seems to be working.
On a camper van, I used this for water intake line to the fresh and drinking water pumps. Immediately after sitting in the line for a short period of time, the water acquires a strong chemical taste There is little you can do about it once you have put it in It was very easy to replace this line with a section of a potable water hose, which worked immediately much, much better. There was only a very, very slight taste after sitting in the hose for few minutes. It's getting late. Any potable water will not be able to flow through this hose.
