In my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500, it took longer to get it out of the box than to install it. Pull the plug connector from under the dash of the passenger side, remove two Philips screws and pull the old one out, then reverse the process to install the new one. All that will take is a few minutes so you can resume using your variable speed fan.
A UPDATED version of this will be available on 8/30/2021. It has been 11 months since I purchased the resistor and the seller has refunded me in full for it. However, I recently placed a second order with the same Seller and the prices have risen since then. Yesterday, the part was delivered. Installation went smoothly, and the part works just fine. I found the customer service to be extremely swift! 5 STARS has been added back to my score! We are grateful for your help! A general update for 8/26/2021 is as follows Only 11 months of the part were spent in the field. (See my photo dated 8- November. 14 years was the lifespan of the original Dodge OEM resistor. The first time I installed this last September, it started working perfectly until recently. (Read my original review at the end). In fact, after testing my new resistor I discovered that it was not the culprit, which led me to investigate Then instead of waiting to see how well it would hold up, I decided to check it out first. Because I removed the two screws and gently lowered it, I found it had a large chunk missing from Additionally, it appears that the interior is hollow and surrounded by As far as I know, the OEM part wasn't Overall, I thought it was pretty good. Since I still have the old OEM resistor lying around, I will crack it open and see what is inside. Meanwhile, I had to place a second order to have another delivered as quickly as possible, while at the same time contacting the Seller to request a refund for the first order. In case the Seller honors my request, my review will be updated. Those first two photos appear to have been taken late September 2020, and show my old OEM resistor, as well as the new resistor that I purchased from this seller. Three months after the resistor was purchased from this Seller, the third photo displays it. It would be intermittently switched on and off with my air conditioner. As I was told by my Dealer that simple repairs would cost thousands of dollars, I Googled my A/C issue and looked at YouTube videos. I then decided it was worth a try since this Part was so reasonably I took these pictures to show how worn down the old one was. I also discovered a crack in it. I was amazed by how simple it was ), plug in the new one, and screw it in to work! Neither the battery nor anything is needed to be disconnected! Since then, my air conditioning has been awesome! I ended up paying zero for this purchase with all of my Amazon credits! I love it! You can see my photos here!.
Furthermore, I thought it was good value for money - You save money when you buy it online!.
You can save yourself quite a bit of trouble by buying this one first, since the build quality is much better than the others I had previously bought. I have had the installation for two months now, and it is working This is a great book to read!.
It looks and works exactly the same as the original AC/Delco part. It was easy to install, and once it was installed, it works perfectly. The only thing that will possibly determine the lifespan of the battery for about half the price of OEM is time. Considering my last AC/Delco lasted only an year and a half before it started losing speed, I figured it was worth a shot. Here's an update Almost eight months later, the blowers are still working as they should. The following updates have now been made During the week of 7/28/21, I lost the lowest fan speed, but the other four are still functioned without any issues.
It was easy to install and at a great price, but it burned out again after 2 months on the number five setting (fastest blower setting). It still works for 1 through 4. As of now, it has been working flawlessly. It may be cheaper for me to buy another one, or I may even look for another brand/style and purchase My contact with the seller might already be past the deadline, as the seller may already have provided the It will be interesting to hear from them.
A cost comparison between this product and one purchased at an auto part store shows that it offers value. If you want your blower motor to run more efficiently, you should check and replace it every 2 to 3 years since a lot of power and current passes through it to keep you cool and warm. It is very simple to inspect, and replace for someone who does it themselves. A party animal. Military veteran who is proud to have served his country.
My selection of the right one was fortunately successful. Every time I get one of these vehicles, one or more fan speeds are What are the reasons people live in that way.
