Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with high-pressure lines on an Econoline e350 van?

The rear ac coil is serviced by two lines. The high side line is smaller than the low side line, which is what I used for the low side line on my 2005 E350.

Is it possible to use this 3/4" size for an 18mm OD? (It appears that 3/4 is a millimeter larger; is this within tolerances?

It should be, because you must ensure that the tube is perfectly round, with no burrs or sharp edges. If you follow the instructions to the letter and don't rush or cut corners, you will notice a slight increase in it. I hope this helps.

It was simple to put together and there were no missing parts
5/5

Hello there, everyone. On a Wednesday, I received this item and on Friday, I had a new hose made and installed. It is simple to put together. The existing pipe was cut with a copper pipe cutter, and the green rubber bands were lubricated with PAG oil when reinstalling it. The system's performance will be determined over time, but I'll keep everyone informed. When tightening the compression fitting, the most difficult part is gauging 18 ft of torque. My gut tells me to do the opposite of what you think 18s should do. You don't want to break the pipe or the fitting.

Solution that is both inexpensive and simple
4/5

This was an excellent, inexpensive, and simple solution for getting my van's dual air conditioning to work again. I did it because the PepBoys couldn't figure it out. br>br>Putting it all together proved to be more difficult than anticipated. It could have been due to the fact that the area where it needed to go was congested. I messed up the first one, so I had to order another. br>br>Once installed, I thought it was secure enough, so I charged the system with freon. This caused an immediate leak, so I tightened both sides. It leaked less when I repeated the process with more water. I tightened it until the leak stopped, then used the entire can to seal it, and it worked! Then I had a friend who worked in the HVAC industry finish it off, and it's been fantastic!.

For my Nissan Quest 2004, which I purchased in 2004
3/5

Look, I'm not sure who's putting these together, but every time I get one of these, it doesn't come with those two gold pieces and the two Greenpeace that you see in the picture. The only color that has happened to me is the black part, which has happened to me twice now, so we'll see what happens. ⭐⭐.

it is a waste of time I ended up cutting a small piece of lined A/C hose, lining it with refrigerant sealant, and attaching it with double hose connectors that were tightened very tightly because this connector leaked constantly and would not hold 100psi on the low side

There are parts that are missing
3/5

I'm not able to be a part of a kit. There are some good parts here. I ordered two kits, but one of the brass ferrules was missing, and no receipt was included in the package. Furthermore, I am unable to order the 3/4 ferrule alone. This is extremely aggravating.
