I like how well it fits and works. There was also a 40% discount or less compared to the auto parts stores. I noticed that it gave off a weird smell when I first used it (very similar to a clothes iron's odor), but I don't think it was anything to worry about since these things got pretty hot due to resisting electricity flow.

I was having trouble with the fan speed only working on high, now it works on all modes. Thanks to this product, I have resolved the issue. You might end up with all this dirt, mud, leaves, etc in your resistor (such as pictured with the old resistor). Clean the hood cowl and remove any dirt, mud, leaves, etc before you replace it.

A new blower motor was installed in my 98 Cherokee XJ after installing a new blower motor. Replacing it under the glove box is a bit of an inconvenience, but it is worth the effort.

I couldn't get it to work with all four There were problems with all 4 speeds of the unit

There was no need to use any higher speeds other than 1, 2, and 4. This item was installed after the 30 day return policy, and as such could not be returned. The 4 speeds of the replacement clock work after I bought it at an auto parts store.
