After hooking up the dryer cans, it was a matter of In either case, I was unable to blow through the hose. The sealer is set up this way I hooked it up to a cylinder of R410A and opened the valve nothing came out, so I know this is the way it's supposed to work. It is impossible to think how it could get past the leak seal through The piercing valve was found to be a Schroeder valve after unscrewing the hose leading to it. The Schroeder valve has to be removed so you can blow through the hose either way and purge the hose as necessary. I hooked up the cans of dryer and sealer, and it worked just as it should have. Because the pictures don't always show the brass body of the Schroeder valve, is it an addition to the valve that the Feds have made? With the valve in place, do you think it won't be possible for the can of sealer to pass through?.

If not, the hose can't be connected to the low-pressure air intake port of the AC system and there is no possibility of purging the air

The hose must be disconnected from the Piercing Valve using a 10 mm wrench in order to remove the valve. four-way tool is similar to the one used by car and bicycle mechanics to remove tires from their vehicles.

There are two of these hoses I have been through already

They are poorly made and don't work half the time. One sealant failed within a few cans after I used a few cans of it. As soon as it got backed up, it clogged. When I bought a second one, it started leaking where the T handle meets the valve after about 3 to 4 uses. Having problems with the hose and finding it clogged has always been a problem. A sight glass is built into my gauge, so I can see when the sealant is being injected. Once you get the sealant through the hose, you need to muck with it. There are other reviews about removing a hidden Schroeder valve inside the hose to make it work properly, I will try that next time. Very disappointing since its made in the US and NuCalgon is a reliable brand, you would think the design and quality would be higher. Seeing as how I only have about 20 of these cans left, I need to purchase more of them. In my experience, NuCalgon sealants seem to work somewhat well when applied properly, but the hose is a pain to use.

It replaced one I have had for years but was damaged while I had it. The fitting would not stay shut no matter how tight I tightened it. It's a pity I waited too long to return the item so now that I have to buy another one, I'm stuck with it.

A quick and easy way to seal and dry products. As described online, you should bleed the line of air by connecting the hose to the low pressure side of the AC with the canister attached to the other side, then back it off the hose a little, but this will do nothing as the hose is one way. Most likely, this is because venting makes you feel uncomfortable There are illegal implications with regard to 22. This hose works as it is supposed to except for the one difference in procedure.

When I connected the hose to the can and the suction port, before making a hole, I tried to remove moisture/air by loosening the can side, but the freon from the system was not emitted

Since the piercing valve was unplugged, I unscrewed the hose from the piercing valve to see if the hose was blocked. My confidence was high, so I proceeded with piercing and added Easy Dry and Easy Seal, despite the fact that freon is not supposed to come out.

I wish I hadn't bought this. I didn't like it. As soon as the Easy Seal valve was connected to the canister, all of the sealant from the Easy Seal leaked out. A leak was coming from the edge of the valve, and I was unable to stop it. There was no point to it. The sealant may have made it into the system, but I am not sure. As a result of a defective valve, I was left with a $50 loss by Easy Seal. The hose should be returned right away.
