In my opinion, hose clamps are a good idea. Despite the fact that you might be able to get away without them at low pressures, the excess pressure could potentially push the hose right Users upgrade to metal worm drive clamps for extra security if they upgrade to this assembly, which comes with two plastic snap clamps.

I've used the cheap clear line from my local brewers supply store for one week, and it has swelled much more than the cheap clear line from my local store. I was left with a large red mark on my chest after hose clamps broke off and the hose hit me in the chest. I bought this outside in the blue, but it leaks CO2 even with stainless steel clamps. The bottle has to be shut off in order for me not to lose.
In order to serve kegs for a party, it was built into CO2 driven two keg system.
