Does what it is supposed to do. Replacement of equal or greater value.
*The post states, "[EASY TO INSTALL] This is a direct replacement for a proper fit on the driver and passenger side. You can install it in minutes. Also stated in the posting is Warranty [LIFETIME] Featuring a lifetime warranty, this brand new blend door actuator is perfect for your next project. It's hassle-free to get a refund or a new item when something is faulty! The OEM part (from Ford) lasted 17 years, so this baby should be able to last (for now) as long as the Explorer does. There is actually a significant difference between the price of this and what you would pay for the OEM part. If you need it, it is a good purchase.
It was either hot or cold air, nothing in the middle. I found a certain spot on the temperature control, and maybe after a day it would adjust, but it was either hot or cold air. Since I only change the temperature twice a year, I only change the following A cool setting characterized the summer, while a hot setting characterized the winter. Having recently researched a fix for this issue, I found this item to be the answer. YouTube is the best way to see where it's located because the guy is pulling the console apart, etc. All I had to do in my 2007 Sport Trac was to remove the side kick panel, which leads to the item - as simple as that. Consoles are not present, nor is anything It took me all of five minutes to do this part You will need 10 minutes to complete the installation. It was such an easy task that I couldn't believe I had waited over half a decade to replace this part. A 2007 Sport Trac 4X4 two-wheel drive was the vehicle in question. As I do all my mechanical work myself, your experience may vary depending on your vehicle and level of skill as well as with whom you work and the tools you own.
This actuator is not easy to install, but it is not difficult if you have the right tools and take your time. I recommend that anyone who plans to replace this actuator do their research on how to do it In spite of the difficulty of replacing it, the unit is flawless.
My explorer part has been broken for two years because I had convinced myself that it would be an absolute nightmare to fix. With YouTube, I was able to finish my hour-long project in the dark and my blend door is now functioning smoothly. My dash no longer sounds as though a monster is trying to smash its way out when I try to change from cold to heat. Despite having only been in place for a short time, it's been flawless. After New England's hot summers and cool fall, I switch from heat to air conditioning every day.
Blender has been replaced with one from the factory. It takes around an hour for the installation to complete. It wasn't necessary for me to take apart the console and dash on my Explorer. By simply removing the lower access panel and brace and removing 3 screws, I removed the lower access panel.
Press the button. The button clicks. The click occurs. An easy youtube search revealed that I need a new actuator for the temp air door. It was bought. Getting your package as quickly as possible. The three screw flange thingies in the box were broken out of the box when the box was opened. Despite this, I installed it in under 30 minutes, and everything worked as it should. This replacement part is made of plastic and is an exact match for the genuine OEM part. I'm glad I bought it.
As promises in the description, it wasn't as easy to use as it claims, but I still got the job.
The problem with the temperature actuator is fixed. It's good that you fixed that.
