An actuator for the blend door on my 2006 MDX needs to be It costs $480+ for the Acura part to fix my car, so the mechanic I use suggested looking for an aftermarket alternative. I checked it out, and this one popped up! They delivered a brand new unit the next day, installed it in no time (30 minutes to take off the old one, 30 minutes to put it in), and now I have heat AND air conditioning! A video on YouTube shows you where it is and how to replace it. It's under the glove box on the passenger side. There is a video showing you how to locate It was easy and the price was great, so I was happy for the 3 days in Central Florida where I needed heat!.
I had HVAC temperature issues in my 2005 Honda Pilot EX. At times, it would become stuck on hot, and sometimes it would become Because I was able to justify my decision not to use genuine Honda parts due to the low price of this part. Getting the whole thing up and running took me about 30 minutes You have 45 minutes left. It just took a few firmly pulled pulls on a kickside panel, so I removed it. Hex socket on a spinner handle (to remove and replace screws holding the unit in place - to hand) It is also possible to use a Phillips Screwdriver, although this may not work as well), and a Flathead Screwdriver (to remove the retaining clip from Luckily, the reinstallation was easier than disassembly, so after removing the old part, you can move on to the next step. I am happy that everything seems to be working, so I'm satisfied.
The Honda Pilot was manufactured in 2007. When you get under your dash, you'll find that this fits perfectly and installs easily. Because I didn't want to dilute the existing white plastic piece, I left the old one attached to the car and discarded the pipe attachment from the new part. Snapped the new piece on top of the existing piece and it worked as it should. You can find online videos showing you how to do this.
After purchasing a used 04 Pilot, I heard strange grinding or gurgling noises coming from the blender door motor. This one was replaced after taking the original one apart and cleaning it using some videos I found on the Internet, but it still acted strange after reassembly and I broke the little white tab that holds the plastic arm to I have been using this motor for over a month now and it just looks and works like an OEM motor. All at a fraction of the cost of an OEM Honda part.
The level of LX is 4. Oh, I was skeptical whether it would fit my Accord 2 from 1998. I don't know if 4 lx is worth it. The original and this one match and I bought them together to see whether they were identical. Additionally, they both operate at the same thresholds and move in the same direction. One difference is that the original part has a metal notch on the plastic triangle that engages with the air mix door assembly. This new part has a plastic notch. It makes no difference in terms of functionality.
We bought this to repair a broken blend door actuator that caused only hot air to come out of our front air conditioning vents on our 2004 Honda Pilot. Though this was not the easiest part of the process, the actual installation was easy once I watched some I was only able to locate an aftermarket unit for this price. The OEM replacement part would have cost more than 5 times as much!.
In our 2006 Pilot, the HVAC system was making strange grindy gurgly noises and our heat would not maintain temperature. There was no coolant or refrigerant in it, so I thought it was low. The problem was likely caused by this thing, I found out when I did a Google search. Having listened under the dash and confirmed that these sounds were coming from there, I got out of my car. My AC was fairly easy to replace, just a little awkward and it took me about 10 minutes to do it. Today it works like brand.
This part is just about $250 cheaper than the genuine Honda part, but it looks and functions exactly like it. In about 30 minutes, I installed the box and now my Pilot's HVAC system Nothing strange is happening anymore with the temperature settings or weird noises. This product is great. A quality aftermarket part has been missing for too long. This is a good thing.
