Have you placed an order for a Sawyer water filter before? If that's the case, these could be a good substitute for the water filter's gaskets. If the gaskets on Smart water bottles are overtightened, they warp and slip into the bottle, causing the seal to break. But I'm not sure why a Sawyer is recommended for you if you've never ordered one.
Put them in the side of the dirty water bottle or bag that is attached to it.

They carry out their duties to the best of their abilities. Low points because they shouldn't be there; Sawyer, fix the design flaw that makes it so easy to lose this part. These spare parts SHOULD NOT be purchased by your customers. It's an unnecessary annoyance with a completely unacceptable environmental impact, especially since you cater to hikers and nature lovers.
The gasket is the Achilles heel of Sawyer filters. The gasket becomes deformed if the pouch is screwed on too tightly and squeezed too hard, rendering the filter nearly useless. JIC, I keep a couple extra gaskets in my first-aid kit at all times. I've discovered a complete set of Although the size Sawyer is less likely to fail, I still keep a spare gasket on hand.
I bought the set because Sawyer is so popular right now (and rightly so), and I thought another hiker might need one. It's always a good idea to have a few extras on hand for your hiking buddies.

I've seen a lot of Sawyer Squeeze reviews on YouTube. Generally a good product, but one complaint I've heard is that there's nothing to keep these rings in place when switching between filter attachments, and they're easily lost, as well as being mangled or degraded beyond use. These low-cost add-ons can save a trip from becoming a complete disaster! We are grateful for their presence.
