The box looks like a poor copy of the original Motorcraft It says on the box that the part is made in the USA but on the part it says it's In all fairness, the genuine Ford part is made in Mexico (as was the 98 Ranger at that time). Nonetheless, I was out of options as the original was broken, so I decided to use this. A vacuum motor inside the housing was unable to switch on the coolant flow, so it did not operate at all. I returned the item to Amazon in no time and bought another nearby.
Fits a woman's body. Rangers with the 3L status. I have a 2003 Ford Ranger 2, so it fits perfectly. The volume of the bottle is 3 liters. would make a metal one, but this one gets the job done just fine. It was really easy to install as well It only takes pliers, extra coolant, and maybe ten minutes, but you'll need to have extra coolant on hand.
For many years, there was a leak of coolant and the source could not be found. This valve was discovered on Amazon, and then I found instructions on youtube on how to install the valve. Using this combination worked great in my vehicle and no need to carry antifreeze.
There was an engine bay part like this shoved in by Ford. It is your best bet if you have an Explorer like mine to get some 3/8 heater hose and some vacuum line and then re-install the thermostat By routing the system to relieve the valve of pressure, the valve will not be under pressure. There are a few ways to do it, so choose what works for you. WORM CLAMPS ARE NOT TO BE USED! In a box, you will find garbage. You should get clamps that have constant tension, like the OEMs.
A heater valve from A was installed on my used Ranger when I purchased it. Those parts (you must know who they are). There was one year's worth of it. A new one from A has been substituted. I also got a Parts model that lasted about a year. The warranty will expire just before the end of the timeframe. In that case, I replaced the old one with a Motorcraft one. As of now, I haven't run into any issues.
About a year ago, this valve developed a leak in my Ranger because I foolishly saved some money. After I put off this task for about a month there was a change of plans. Once I installed the brand-new valve, it started leaking and got worse over time. This time I decided to upgrade to a Motorcraft valve for a few dollars more. (It has been over two months) so far so good. There is a lot to do to replace this valve- There are four hoses connected by this and the hose clamps in my truck are not in an ideal position. My wish is that I had bought the Motorcraft part when I was younger instead of doing it twice a year apart.
There's a good reason why the bad one broke It is made from plastic, so as the body ages or under stress, the tubes may fall off. As I was very careful in replacing it, I don't anticipate it going bad any time soon, but you should keep an eye on it. The part would be stronger if it had a little bit of metal incorporated into it.
When I hit the gas pedal, my ac would divert to defrost. As a result, the valve stuck and was causing the problem. You might want to give this a try if you are having the same issue!.
