The sonicelectronix system fails to function

I purchased this from Sonic Electronix following their assurance that it was compatible with my 2006 golf. I received the package, all GM components. I don't think it fits my style. The dimensions of Amazon's product are incorrect. I just thought I'd mention that. This is it. Four by eight or so. Only the pocket is being used, and the rest of the pieces are available for sale.
