Brittleness is an issue. It's simple to break. Both sides of the bushing have the same amount of rise. The stiff plastic won't allow the shifter head to fit into it. They cracked and broke within an hour of trying to fit into the shifter head with pliers and other tools. I gave up and used duct tape and 80lb braid fishing line to wrap the spindle in a few thin strips. Then, in the black plastic shifter lever (to which the shifter head is attached), drill a small hole. Put the shifter head on the shifter pin, braid the shifter head, and loop several loops (over and under) through the shifter lever's hole. It was tucked away. Let's get started. The total cost is zero. 00 with materials already on hand.
I was able to get the van to shift once more.
Excellent product at a reasonable cost.
These do exactly what they're supposed to do and haven't given me any problems. It is highly recommended.
