This bushing is used on the shifter lever tip coming off the transmission in the 2006 Jeep Wrangler X. And it joins up with the shifter's linkage end. The inside diameter, on the other hand, is a tad too small. br>Forcing it on is a recipe for disaster. The identifier for this object is. 200 and required the use of a drill with a diameter of less than. I used . Jobber bit with a diameter of 184 millimeters. Then Chanel locks it to keep it from slipping off the tip. Then repeat with the other end of the linkage. And it was successful.

This isn't the Shift Cable that you're looking for
5/5

This is the item. This isn't the Shift Cable that you're looking for. This is just the bushing for the transmission end of the shift cable under the Jeep. It's a Mopar part that fits my Jeep JKU Rubicon from 2007. Due to the skid plates and drive shafts on my Rubicon, as well as my large hands, getting to the shift cable end was a little difficult. I had to use pliers to get the bushing to snap into the cable end because I couldn't get it to snap into place. I first installed the bushing on the shift lever's post, then snapped the cable end onto the bushing with pliers. It took me about 20 minutes to complete this task. It will take about a minute if and when I need to do it again.

This is an ideal solution
5/5

Perfect fit on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler; I pushed the washer first on the wire linkage, then the wire linkage and washer into the nub above, and everything snapped into place easily.

IT HAD BEEN SUCCESS
4/5

It worked after a little dremeling on the outside to allow the cable's eye to slip on.
