If you don't count the hassle of removing the console, it's a simple installation. It's not the fault of the parts manufacturer; it's the fault of the Jeep engineers who designed that scumbag of a vehicle. For that reason, I will not purchase a genuine Jeep part.

Mine broke for the second time 6 months later

In December of this year, I purchased one of these. As of today, 7/8 of the bushing under the shift column has popped off. If you ask me, that's not very good quality. Who sells the bushing by itself, given that the factory bushing lasted 12 years to begin with?br>br>.
