Manual transmissions are available for the Dodge Dart, Fiat 500, 500L, 500C, and 500x. It's a simple device that simply clips into the round cable end after the old bush is removed. It has a ball joint socket that simply pushes into place. I see the Mini Cooper Manual Transmission listed in the advertisement, so it's probably worth a shot if that's the part you're looking for. Remove the old rubber bush with care because you want it to fit snugly.

What a clever way to replace the shift linkage ends

My 06 Mini Cooper's bushings finally gave out, and these were a perfect fit and excellent service

When I called the dealership's parts department, they assured me that the replacement bushings would be delivered in two days. To get the new bushings, I drove for over an hour. The wrong bushings were installed by the dealership (i. e. the "experts"). The clutch bushings were in their possession. The parts diagram was pulled up by Part Tech, and they don't sell replacement bushings; you have to order the entire linkage. For the set, the dealer wanted almost $400! I discovered bushingfix. br>br> I immediately dialed com. I needed to get my Cooper back on the road as soon as possible, so I inquired about overnight shipping and double-checked that I had the correct part number; their customer service provided me with the correct part number and advised that my best bet would be to order from Amazon, as the part was $10 cheaper than on bushingfix. com and the part could arrive sooner. br>br>Part arrived in two days, was a PERFECT fit, and took only about 10 minutes to install! Even if I have to replace these bushings five times, the total cost of the linkage is still less. But I won't have to, because these bushings are made of a durable material that will last for a long time!.

It will not fit a Mini Cooper before the facelift

Instead of replacing the entire shift cable, the bushing kit is an excellent idea. The NA1kit, on the other hand, is not compatible. For this application, the small orange bushing is insufficient. To make it work on a pre-facelift Mini Cooper, you'll need to use the FM1kit kit.

Reverse and fifth gear were restored after a two-day repair that took only twenty minutes. I'm not sure why there was an extra bushing in the package.
