In the end, it broke at the base 2 days after it was installed (the coaxial cable into the transmission) but I was able to rig the new cable from the old. I, however, was pleased with the speed of shipping.
The leak has been repaired. I have replaced two transmission pans yet my car is leaking fluid in the same place. After deciding to finally look up, I discovered that the cable housing had been cracked and the seal was weak. I used this on my 1973 camaro with a 350 turbo transmission and 383 SBCII.

It was In two days of driving, after a bit of fenangling, I was able to install it and then adjust it.
Cable has a good signal.
I found it to be better than the OG I originally used- I appreciate your kind words.
