My truck megashifter is equipped with a unimatic cable. Does it work with it?

It will work, but it won't do as much damage as Get the installation correct so that it isn't in a bind and can be easily used. Some of the heavier duty ones should be able to withstand more abuse than these do. It is a good product for the price

What about the cable if I have a B&M Starshifter?

You should be able to make this work if you have a shifter that is connected to your transmission by a cable. As it came with the shifter, the cable was too short. In order to use it, I had to buy one. As the shifter is mounted behind the transmission and the transmission linkage is located front of it, the component had to cross that path.
