This may work depending on the model of the ATV

It is simple and straightforward. When you pull it out and twist it, it seems to lock, which is helpful but not sure what is intended by that. There is a possibility that the thread diameter would be too large for some ATVs (doesn't fit my Polaris 250cc trailboss.
