There is a sheath over the choke. Affects the fit of the garment. It is not possible to seat the sheath over the choke cable against the cable stop, leaving the cable exposed, leaving it susceptible to damage It is recommended that you extend the choke slightly so that it does not ACTIVATE.

Changing the chop cable is a good idea

Although the new cable looked a bit different from the old cable (must be a newer design), it fit well. Now, the choke works like a charm. This system was installed on a 2001 Honda Rancher 350 ES 4x4 vehicle.
