Questions & Answers
The answer is yes, you can shorten it easily. A wound wire cable can be cut by pulling it where you want to cut it, cutting off the tiny piece that is now exposed, and then trimming the actuating wire to the desired size. The f100 was perfect, so I would not have to worry about it. This is a very simple process.
The inner wire itself (about 1/16") is concealed in a plastic sheath that is intended to improve friction on the inner wire.
It's extra long, so you could be able to cut it down if you want to shorten it
You should be able to anchor the sheath to a bracket on your manifold if you have one. It will be your responsibility to make or buy one if you don't own

Edelbrock parts have been a part of my life for years Vic Edelbrock, a California legend, is one of the greatest. The choke cable was an extra cost since it is an Edelbrock product. I found it to be junk, however. There was no threading on the threaded part, and it was pressed onto the knob. As it was designed to break, it immediately did so. The things that Edelbrock makes in China are disgusting. I ask Edelbrock to stop manufacturing such There is even better work being done by Mexico than by would be to buy the cheaper ones. They will be considerably better in the long run.
There's quite a bit of length to reach for any application with this solidly built tool. I love how smoothly it operates and how good it looks, I would buy this product.
I am grateful for your help. Cables that are made of plastic will not work for your choke, throttle, heater valve, etc. Please stay away from any of these plastic cables! While the price is still affordable, the quality is significantly better than the other ones I've I installed a manual heater valve on my 30 year old Mercedes and found it very easy to push and pull. Although it can be snaked around from many angles, it is still effective. The first time you buy this book, do yourself a favor and get it.
Currently, I own a 1968 Chevy C10 with an Edelbrock carburetor. I still had the factory choke cable, which broke, so I ordered this one to replace it. I would say that it would be long enough for just about any vehicle.
Due to the name edelbrock, I paid a little extra for it. There are so few details in the engraving that you can hardly make them In the end, I was able to finish my project thanks to it.
Although I have not yet installed it, I am sure that it.
This purchase has been very satisfying. It is easy to install, and the product is of good quality. I love the finish on the pull knobs. As I checked with a national distributor, they carry only one cheap choke cable so I was able to purchase it at a great price. It's faster and cheaper to order than to find it on your own.
The device looks good and is heavy duty. I use it on an old farm tractor. I found the cost to be well worth it.
