There is a 200 psi pressure stated in the product description. Around 120 pounds per square inch is what I operate at.
As far as I'm aware, the majority of tanks have 1/4 NPT or larger threads. I used bronze plumbing reducers to dial down the 1/2" pipe size on my compressor because it has a much larger drain. Getting this little guy installed ought to be a breeze.

The price is not what I expected for such a spring loaded valve as this drain valve seems to operate by compressing the spring once the valve stem is inserted into the housing. With the cable pulled sideways by pulling on the stem, the valve does not always fully open, and it does not always close after being This type of valve is also susceptible to leakage over time due to the deterioration of the valve packing material, as well, according to the local Ace Hardware. This was intended to replace my unwieldy location pump drain valve, but I just thought it would be nice to just use a 1/4" steel pipe extension with the brass ball valve attached to it. With that, you're sure to get a much better, faster, and leakproof system Solution that is proof. Quality Distributing LLC requires the purchaser to pay the return shipping if the defective valve is returned to them. So far, I have not received a response from them.

It was easy to install, it didn't leak, and it wasn't difficult to pull it out.
This item was my first compressor purchase. I had been a very bad owner before this item. Tanks should be drained more frequently than I did. My tank was drained and I pulled out an embarrassing amount of brown rusty water when I installed this great little device. Regardless of how much oil you put in your air tool tanks, if the water is present, it will not protect the air tools. There's nothing I can do to improve the performance of my Craftsman impact driver. Sadly, it is unable to do its usual task of breaking lug nuts off. As well as the driver I replaced it with, it is Since then, whenever I am in the garage or after the compressor does a refill cycle I tug on the lanyard a few times for a few seconds. I can no longer claim to have that horrible drain plug to blame. Having some tools I can utilize to do mechanical work has made me feel more confident and I now plan on getting the best impact driver I have There is 180 ft lbs of torque hidden within what looks like an air ratchet. In a nutshell.
It was very difficult for me to unscrew the drain plug on my compressor because I was lazy. Every time I use this valve, there is a little condensation draining out. This is a very strong and sturdy piece.
It works well, but it bleeds air when it is.
My air compressor tank is able to be vented with ease.
Unlike the OEM drain on my vertical 200 PSI air tank, this one is much more convenient. The cost of these drains is much less than that of high pressure This is an easy to install program. Exactly what I wanted. This is a good book.
