You'll need to connect the new brake magnet(s). I cut the old brake wires and replaced them with new ones. I sealed them with wired connectors and heat shrink tube. It doesn't matter which color goes where on my unig. The one on the left is negative, while the one on the right is positive. I hope this has provided you with the information you require. good luck
They were not made to be submerged in water. Hydraulic surge brakes are commonly used on boat trailers.
This is for a trailer, not a full-fledged vehicle.

Brake assemblies are not completely assembled, and while all parts appear to be present, they have not yet been installed.
The brakes came without any hardware, and 7/16 fine thread nuts are difficult to come by. They also arrived disassembled, most likely due to poor packaging and handling. I appreciate UPS's efforts. NOT. The wiring was a breeze to reassemble and install once everything was back together. they do their job properly.
This product assumes that the old nuts are the same as the new ones, but this was not the case with mine. br>br>Other than that, it worked flawlessly.
So far, so good; I've used them on my 18-foot trailer; I'd read a couple of reviews that said not all of the parts were connected, but mine were; I haven't used them with my Kubota 2650 super cab yet. I'll post an update later.
The brakes were properly installed and functioned. It is simple to put together. The quality appears to be satisfactory. Be aware that these do not come with new mounting bolt nuts, so you'll either need to buy new ones or hope that the originals can be reused.
br>br>I'd re-emphasize the importance of re-emphasizing the importance of re-empha buy them.
These brakes are efficient and effective. They're okay for the price, but they don't include the 7/16 fine thread nuts, FYI. br>On a 5,000-pound camper, I installed two sets.
The brakes are in excellent condition. My trailer has three 3500 lb axels and is a tandem axel with brakes on the front. Also, a fantastic price!.
