My old S10 brakes were ragged, it's been a while since I've done any brake work on it and a lot of bad conditions have happened. It has taken a long time to match parts. Initially, I wanted to get a complete brake job done with name brand quality parts that can I couldn't find a better price and better selection of AC Delco products than on Amazon. It was an easy install and everything worked as it should have. It is absolutely guaranteed that this rear shoe will work with the new drum brakes. Superb braking from the very beginning.
Since I got a damaged box for a great price, I was able to maximize my profit. This is not something I am returning since the only cost was If you want to sell car parts, you have to represent Amazon well, so get it right the first time. I am sure it functions perfectly. I gave it three stars because it represents the company Amazon, which represents their brand.
This product works for my 95 S10. It is of great quality and isn't too expensive to purchase. I am definately recommend this product and also, the shipment was very quick. A little noisy at first but a great buy for your dollar.
There is nothing wrong with the shoes themselves, but the packaging is at fault. A few punctures could be seen on the box (coming from the inside). A disappointment. Even though the forward shoe surface was a little damaged, I decided to use them because they looked so much better than what came off. I was satisfied with how it worked.
The kit is for 1 wheel or 2 wheels, and I am uncertain of the difference. It is possible to use each kit with both wheels.
The Astro van RWD was fitted with this system. Also, it would be worth it to invest a bit more in drums.
The advantage of bonded shoes over riveted shoes is that, more importantly, when they wear out, the drums won't be too worn down.
I was not convinced it would fit my vehicle, despite the fact that it was listed as compatible, so it wasn't worth returning.
