As far as I am concerned, I am not able to independently verify the precision of this tool, but I think it might be pretty effective nonetheless. On two separate cars, I tested it. In Car1, the brakes just had to be bled and the fluid refilled recently. It was about 11 months ago that Car2 had its brake fluid refilled and bleeding performed. The water content in Car 1 was zero, while that in Car 2 ranged from zero to one percent. My amateur test of the tool has led me to endorse it.
