The only way I could give it less stars would be to take out a star. The first time I used it, I was skeptical about the results, but I followed through and used it again. It was dead two months after I used it (or at least tried to) but I couldn't use it any more. The power was on when I thought it was off. It took me quite some time to get around to using it after they were replaced. I went to the garage one day and heard a "chirping" sound that I couldn't find. It was this tester I found in my search. *20 seconds later, the light flashed and it was chirping. It was time to replace the batteries Having replaced the batteries (third time) and tested accuracy with two others, I replaced them again. It is defective. It would have been better to follow my instinct.

Now that my window of return has passed, I cannot change my mind. It is a wise word to heed. You should not go near it.

I tested it on multiple cars and found it to be inaccurate

You'll save money and preserve the brakes on your car by using this method. The unit I received arrived and I tested it on multiple cars, but I noticed that I was getting similar readings on each. Having suspected a bad unit, I sent it back for replacement. As I really wanted this to work, I sent it back for a replacement. It has been replaced twice, and both of the times the readings were bad. My final confirmation was when I tested it on a brand new bottle of fluid that had just been opened, and it also gave bad results. This product did not meet my standards of trust, so I returned it. They took six months to refund us and then charged a restocking fee on top of that. Since I have never had this bad of an experience on Amazon and we purchase quite a bit on the site, I am very disappointed.

I found this instrument to be very easy to use and it performs exactly A service provider I hire to maintain my car alerted me to the fact that it needed to be changed because he said the brake fluid was contaminated. After measuring the moisture content in the brake fluid, I found it to be well within a safe level and did not need to replace the fluid. This tool can save me a lot of time and energy when it comes to testing brake fluid as a part time technician. Due to its easy-to-read display and selectable modes, it is a convenient tool to have at your disposal when performing Easy to use, due to its flexible head, this tool can be used on any brake fluid reservoir. Bought it a couple months ago, easy to use, but I had to install a manual switch to turn it off, because the power button keeps draining the batteries when used with the power button.

Worked but now it doesn't

In the past, I have used it to test brake fluid in a car that has been sitting for over ten years (probably much In the same manner as with fresh brake fluid, I got the same reading. I think it was fine. There was a notice that stated that the brake fluid sample was good, however, the tested cola was not. The product is indicating that cola or other similar fluids should not be used in the brake system of a car. Reviews are mixed, ranging from 1 to 5 The star scale ranges from 1-5 It is starred. Batteries that can be recharged are best

I am pleased with how it works. Even when batteries are off, the battery eaters continue to consume them. My batteries can now be removed from the back now that I have left the back untouched.
