Brake Fluid Tester, Auto Brake Diagnostic Testing Tool, Hydraulic Fluid/Liquid/Oil Moisture Analyzer with 9 LED Indicators for DOT3/DOT4/DOT5.1 Brake Fluid(BF100)

There are so many errors in this product that it is nearly DOT3 brake fluid which had been brand new tested at just less than 2%, which, though okay, is just barely acceptable. Wouldn't it be better if it was I finally got it to alarm, and should rise above 2% after bringing the water content to about 18% after slowly adding water to the brake fluid. The brake fluid would also probably look discolored in actual use if the fluid was that bad. of my cars tested at about 2% when they were 2 1/2 and 3 years old. That said, I do not recommend this device. And the price was also not worth it.

For not much more than the cost of a can of conventional brake contamination strips, I bought this. We have been using this device here at the shop for over 20 years because it's easy to read, easy to use, and works as well (or even better) than the older paper strip tests. As far as the other techs are concerned, it appears to be a well built tool, and so far it seems to be thoroughly enjoyed by them. In general, the price is great!.

As an automotive technician for last 30 years, I recommend that you always ensure that the fluid tester HF 200 is part of your maintenance arsenal in order to keep you and your family safe. This tester has been with me for about a week now, and I have tested about 15 vehicles using it so far to compare it to my other In my testing, I found that this test was accurate and works as promised. This device is very easy to use and you'll only need three AAA batteries to start using it right away. Press and hold the on/off button until it turns on and then begin testing it. When the button is pressed while on, it changes between different types of brake fluid. Hold the button for a short time to turn the LED on, and hold it for a long time to turn it I would recommend this tester for the price.

The product I purchased was to be used in a course I teach in automotive. In comparison to brake fluid test straps, it is very easy to use and seems to be accurate. About 10 different cars have been tested, and each time I test an older car that has not been maintained properly, the moisture content in fluid is very low. By contrast, newer cars with freshly filled fluid have very high Selling fluid services would be fantastic with this method as well.

I really liked the way it worked. In my old Jeep that has been neglected, I tested it, and it showed yellow, warning me that there was moisture in the fluid. This needs to be replaced. Currently, the reading reads green on my more recent vehicles (which is logical). I'm glad to know that.

This tester has many of the features of the old ones but I had to run a different test for each type of brake fluid, which was very inefficient. This test solves that issue and is priced pretty decently for what it offers.

This is for those who are unfamiliar. Hydrophilic brake fluid (brake fluid is hygroscopic) and wicks The brakes are in no way made to handle this kind of load. While I have used other brake fluid testers before, this one stands out for its ability to test fluid pressure. Some vehicles have reservoirs located below the windshield cowl, which makes it difficult to evaluate with a straight tester. I, therefore, am able to access fluid in most reservoir types with ease. In some cases I had to siphon and test from another container since siphoning from the main container was not an option. As far as I can tell, not with this one since it can easily be bent to shape and dropped in. The user interface is very simple.
