If you are trying to remove that pin, you need to remove or loosen the front exhaust pipe. In the event that you have a single To loosen up the exhaust system as a whole, you must loosen up each piece. To remove the cotter pin, I must remove the bolt holding the master cylinder in place and then I must push the entire assembly forward. If I can remove the cotter pin, that is. Yeah, I had to remove my right floorboard and right fairing to make it a bit easier on my right side - that was a major hassle! As soon as I get back to it tomorrow, I will let you know how it went. I am in the process of removing the cotter pins.
The lever wasn't a direct replacement for the stock lever on my 2016 Road Glide. I had to file off the hole where the stud slides into There was no way it could slide on. To connect the master cylinder rod for the rear brakes, I also had to file a smaller hole for the pin to pass through. Due to the size of the honing tool I had, I had to buy a smaller honing tool for $16 from the auto parts store. We had to go buy the tool to make it fit, which was highly inconvenient. It is well known to me how to hon a knife, but I am sure that many people do not know how. As a whole, the lever looks great and functions as it is supposed to, but can't give higher than 3 stars due to the need to modify it.
We do not recommend purchasing this product if you are looking for an easy swap out of the stock brake lever and do not possess the patience, know-how or ability to use a dremel tool and polisher. You can purchase this item if you like challenging yourself. Although there is not enough research and development, the price makes up for the lack of it There was a scratch on the viewable side of this part that I did not like, but I will deal with it. I did not complain to D or QC regarding this part. To make it possible for it to slide on freely and not bind up, I honed the main connecting hole down. Additionally, I had to sand down and polish the three center holes because they appeared pretty poor compared to the top brands and they were covered in router marks and were not polished. I'm happy to report that after some modifications and time spent with the Dremel, the part looks good.
It's been fantastic in every way. Fit, finish, and quality are all amazing. The design looks great. It is better than the.
Furthermore, it would be inappropriate and ineffective.
I had to use a dremel to make the inside diameter smaller, as all of the reviews complained. Why they don't correct the problem is beyond me! This is not a product you should buy!.
