The lever wasn't a direct replacement for the stock lever on my 2016 Road Glide. I had to file off the hole where the stud slides into There was no way it could slide on. To connect the master cylinder rod for the rear brakes, I also had to file a smaller hole for the pin to pass through. Due to the size of the honing tool I had, I had to buy a smaller honing tool for $16 from the auto parts store. We had to go buy the tool to make it fit, which was highly inconvenient. It is well known to me how to hon a knife, but I am sure that many people do not know how. We do not recommend purchasing this product if you are looking for an easy swap out of the stock brake lever and do not possess the patience, know-how or ability to use a dremel tool and polisher. You can purchase this item if you like challenging yourself. Although there is not enough research and development, the price makes up for the lack of it There was a scratch on the viewable side of this part that I did not like, but I will deal with it. I did not complain to D or QC regarding this part. To make it possible for it to slide on freely and not bind up, I honed the main connecting hole down. Additionally, I had to sand down and polish the three center holes because they appeared pretty poor compared to the top brands and they were covered in router marks and were not polished. I'm happy to report that after some modifications and time spent with the Dremel, the part looks good.
