This pad is a perfect fit for my 1990 Mustang with a 5-speed manual transmission. I purchased two of them, one for the Clutch and the other for the Break Peddle. It is, however, made of softer rubber than the Original Pads, and it slides around on the Clutch and Break arm a little. They don't slip nearly enough to be dangerous, but I did have to preposition them on occasion, so I bought some J-clips to be safe. B Weld 50101 2 Pack 0, B Weld 50101 2 Pack 0, B Weld 50101 2 85 oz. To keep the pads in place, I used a small amount of MinuteWeld Epoxy. They are no longer moving. It may be difficult to remove them if I need to replace them again because of the Instant-On feature. Epoxy for setting is a powerful material. However, I am content.
These are soft and comfortable to wear, and they stay in place well over time. I've heard that some people had to use some sort of glue to keep them in place, but they fit perfectly on my factory Ford pedals, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. Thanks. There were no issues at all.
I received my order, which appears to be of good quality. Although I have not yet installed it, I do not anticipate any issues.
The brakes on these vehicles are I didn't need to use any glue because the clutch pedal pads fit perfectly on my 88 Mustang. There are no complaints about how easy it is to install and how thick the rubber is.
I installed them on an 88 Mustang as a clutch and brake pedal replacement. br>It was an excellent fit.
This was exactly what I was looking for in a brake pedal pad for my 1987 Mustang. Some reviews stated that the fit was sloppy, but this was not the case for me. Where my previous pad was slick when wet, this one has a decent non-slip finish.
On an 1989 Fox Body, this is the ideal aftermarket replacement. What else is there to ask for?.
In the process of restoring my 1990 foxbody, this was a great little part for the price.
